In this 2.5-hour Pilates class, you will work with Anya Taylor, a certified Pilates rehabilitation instructor. You will perform a series of exercises that will increase your awareness of your pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles, bringing strength, control, AND relaxation to this area of your body. Through this workshop, you will become more aware of and connect to this important part of your body that is often neglected.
All skill levels are welcome.
About Instructor: Anya Taylor teaches Pilates with a specialization in the pelvic floor. She has a BA in Sociology and is a certified Yoga instructor, massage therapist, and Pilates Rehabilitation instructor who has a private practice and has been working in Oakland for nearly 20 years.
